Two ways to configure APEX for NI CompactRIO
1. APEX for PCB connectivity - using the PCB mountable APEX connector, build a connector-to-connector solution. Cable signals from each CompactRIO module direct to a user defined APEX mounted PCB.
2. APEX for direct-wire connectivity - cable CompactRIO module signals direct to the backside of the APEX connector. Build your own or allow MAC Panel to build a cable with crimped-pins on one end and the CompactRIO module connector at the mating side.
Easy Cable custom cable configuration utility is your web portal to simply cable configuration and procurement. Simply select the connector type of your CompactRIO module and the length you desire. On the APEX PCB connector end, you can specify a APEX pin type wire or PCB Backshell.
