MAC Panel Company Ships Combinational Contact-pin Connector

The news was announced on August 3 in Austin, Texas, during NIWeek 2015, the annual global conference on graphical system design.

A key to achieving maximum value from automated test equipment based upon PXI, is using the same instrumentation with interchangeable mechanics to test multiple products. MAC Panel’s APEX hybrid connector with combinational contact-pin support reduces costs-of-test with its flexible configuration capability. The APEX hybrid delivers a modular cabled mass interconnect that handles electrical signals from DC to RF, and suited for high connector-reinsertion environments found in high-volume product test. Long-life adaptable contact-pin interconnect maximizes equipment re-use while minimizing costs because the same connector can be used in a variety of applications.
