MAC Panel's relationship with Amfax, a National Instruments Platinum Alliance partner based in the UK, is a great example of a partnership that works for the benefits of all parties. Amfax have taken MAC Panel's best in class connectivity solution, SCOUT, and developed a cable free test fixture platform, PECture, that offers cable free connectivity right through to the device being tested.

Amfax's Ian Crighton explains, "The PECture solution features two electronic printed circuit boards (PECs). The motherboard houses all of the connectors needed for direct connection to the MAC Panel Scout DAKs which in turn are connected directly to the test systems PXI instrumentation. The daughterboard which is connected to the motherboard by multiway push fit connectors contains the connectors that attach directly to the UUT cabling.
